Houston HubSpot User GroupThe Houston HubSpot User Group finished 2014 with a bang. 3rd Floor was packed Thursday night with the coolest inbound marketers, web designers, developers, and content writers in Houston. The December 2014 Houston HubSpot User Group Meetup was our most successful meetup yet. We had over 50 attendees from various companies, industries, and backgrounds across Houston.

There was awesome networking, great food and drinks, and Dee Dee from HubSpot had a interactive conversation with us about seven key elements your website needs to succeed in 2015. Some of those elements included:

1. Clear headers

2. Calls-to-action above the fold

3. Large, relevant images or videos

4. Page titles under 55 characters

... and more!

If you missed the event, you can view the presentation here:

If you have any ideas for future meetup topics, would like to contribute to the Houston HUG blog, or have any other questions, let me know! Feel free to email me at [email protected] or tweet me @HUGHouston.

Be sure to check out pictures from the event, and mark your calendar for our next meetup March 5th, 2015!
