LyntonWeb_teamWhat do you get when you mix inbound marketers, awesome cookies, some Christmas beer, and an amazing view of Downtown? Another successful HubSpot User Group Meetup! If you don't believe we had an awesome time, you can check out some pics here. Michelle from ABIS was gracious enough to open up her super sweet office (with a great panoramic view) for this event, and Derek from Adhere Creative talked with us about what makes a great inbound website.

Here’s a quick recap of some things we learned about inbound websites:

  • Your consumer is already 57% through the buying cycle, before they talk to a sales person

  • Build your site for learners, shoppers, and buyers. Remember how important content is!

  • Create stupid proof navigation

  • No page should be more than three clicks away from the homepage

  • You save time and money with responsive design

In case you weren't able to make it to the event, check out Derek's full presentation here:

Don't forget to mark your calendars for our next event on January 23rd! Rebecca Corliss from HubSpot will be joining us to talk about social media. You won't want to miss it!
